కీర్తనలు 120వ అధ్యాయము Psalms 120

1 నా శ్రమలో నేను యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టితిని

ఆయన నాకు ఉత్తరమిచ్చెను.

In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

2 యెహోవా, అబద్ధమాడు పెదవులనుండియు

మోసకరమైన నాలుకనుండియు నా ప్రాణమును విడిపించుము.

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

3 మోసకరమైన నాలుకా, ఆయన నీకేమి చేయును?

ఇంతకంటె అధికముగా నీకేమి చేయును?

What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

4 తంగేడునిప్పులతో కూడిన బాణములను

వాడిగల బాణములను నీమీద వేయును

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

5 అయ్యో, నేను మెషెకులో పరదేశినై యున్నాను.

కేదారు గుడారములయొద్ద కాపురమున్నాను.

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

6 కలహప్రియునియొద్ద

నేను చిరకాలము నివసించినవాడను.

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7 నేను కోరునది సమాధానమే

అయినను మాట నా నోట వచ్చినతోడనే వారు యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధమగుదురు.

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
