కీర్తనలు 131వ అధ్యాయము

1 యెహోవా, నా హృదయము అహంకారము గలది కాదు
నా కన్నులు మీదు చూచునవి కావు
నాకు అందనివాటియందైనను గొప్పవాటియందైనను
నేను అభ్యాసము చేసికొనుట లేదు.
Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 నేను నా ప్రాణమును నిమ్మళ పరచుకొనియున్నాను
సముదాయించుకొని యున్నాను
చనుపాలు విడిచిన పిల్ల తన తల్లియొద్దనున్నట్లు చనుపాలు విడిచిన పిల్లయున్నట్లు
నా ప్రాణము నాయొద్ద నున్నది.
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 ఇశ్రాయేలూ, ఇదిమొదలుకొని నిత్యము యెహోవా మీదనే ఆశపెట్టుకొనుము.
Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
